AREVA T&D MiCOM S1 Studio is an engineering suite for configuring, commissioning, and maintaining MiCOM protection relays and related substation IEDs. It offers a unified workspace to create, edit, compare, and document settings; manage Programmable Scheme Logic (PSL); configure communications (IEC 61850, Modbus, Courier); and organize devices within projects. Engineers can connect locally or over Ethernet to read/write settings, retrieve event and disturbance records (e.g., COMTRADE), and monitor device status during testing and operation. The suite streamlines lifecycle tasks from initial setup to field maintenance and supports IEC 61850 SCL import/export, helping ensure consistent configuration, clear documentation, and efficient change management across protection systems.
